Like many of you, if not all of you, I became entranced by social media and the metaphorical delights it had to offer. I was born in 1997 (making me 23 at the time of writing). I have been using social media since it became a platform we can roughly recognise today, Facebook. When I started using Facebook, social media wasn’t a commonly used term, and this platform was considered an ideal way to communicate with school friends and an even better way to harvest a virtual farm! As the years rolled on, I, like most, would adopt every new…

The last couple of months have been testing times for almost everyone around the world, the spread of coronavirus has led to lockdowns across Europe, Asia and the U.S. Lockdowns have meant people are spending far more (in some cases all) their time at home. As a direct result, many airlines are grounding their aircraft around the globe, all but essential travel is halting. Boredom is setting in, partly because of the countless cancelled vacations people are facing between January and the unknown end date. …

Why Shopify is a great option for your online store.

There are a few reasons why Shopify is a great choice to start your online store, I’m going to focus on just three of them in this article. There a plenty of options when it comes to web design and e-commerce platforms and I will be writing about a few more in the future, but for now, this is all about Shopify.

The words will echo through time and space “one small step for man, one giant leap for mankind” — Neil Armstrong, 1969 moon landing. It is no surprise that a massive array of white men played their part in this significant moment, but who were the women who’s role was just as vital.

Northcutt is perhaps one of the most recognizable faces of NASA’s women; she was integral in return-to-Earth calculations. She was part of the team retrieving the Apollo 13 astronauts and all the moon landings in-between. …

The addictions I’m talking about are smoking, drinking, and caffeine, which again in my case is a drink.

I’ve been smoking since I was 11, which isn’t great and will in all likelihood have already caused permanent damage to my body which quitting won’t resolve.

I’ve been drinking a while, definitely, before it was legal which in the UK is 18 years old. But it has definitely increased from social to binge drinking to all-out addiction.

Caffein, which in my case is 99% black coffee is another addiction I’ve had from when I was young, the difference with this one…

Believe it or not, but there are some countries and places which don’t allow vaping at all!

If you’re planning a vacation and taking your vaporizer, then it pays to spend a little bit of time doing some homework before you travel. You may be surprised, or not, to learn that there are some countries where vaping is not only frowned upon, it’s 100% illegal. While vaping is regulated heavily in some countries and banned in others, each country will have their own specific guidelines and laws which all travelers will need to be aware of.

Remember, ignorance of the…

That’s the topic of the day, the thing everyone is talking about, the next millennial phase. But why should you care, are you phased by the turtle with the plastic straw in its nose? No matter because it does matter, and the plastic issue is a big one if a statistic like this can be true.

“by 2050 there will be more plastic in the ocean than fish”

We need to sort this giant mess we’ve made and fast! So, to offer a little helping hand, I’ve designed a short step by step guide on the basics of saving the…

I’ve thought about becoming vegan a few times over the past few years, though never stuck with it and always went back to my regular bad diet of fast food, beer, and coffee. On the other hand I have always been pretty good at sticking with my new year’s resolutions; I learned to swim, to drive and I’ve almost cleared all my debt. …
